What we collect
When you book a mock exam: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and your child's name and any other details you give us on the booking form.
When you contact us through a form on this website: your name, your child's name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
Your child's mock exam answers and results, which we produce after each sitting.
Basic information about how the website is used, collected through cookies and analytics (see below).
We never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled securely by our payment providers.
How we use it
To confirm and manage your booking, prepare registers and run the mock exam safely, including contacting you in an emergency on the day.
To mark your child's papers and email you their results report.
To reply to your enquiries and tell you about anything that affects your booking, such as a change of time or venue.
To send you news about future mock dates, but only if you have agreed to this. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
Our legal basis
We use booking and results information because we need it to provide the service you have booked. We use your contact details to answer your enquiries because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We only send marketing emails with your consent.
Your child's information
We only collect the information we need to run the mock exam and produce the results report. Your child's identity and results are kept strictly confidential and are only sent to you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We only share it with services that help us run this website and take bookings:
Squarespace, which hosts our website, online store and forms.
Our payment providers, such as Stripe and Klarna, which process payments under their own privacy policies.
Google, which provides website statistics (Google Analytics) and the map on our website.
We may also share information where the law requires us to. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for international transfers.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that it needs in order to work, for example to remember what is in your basket, and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records and results for as long as we need them to run the mock season and deal with any questions about it, and then delete or anonymise them. Payment and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To make a request, email info@epstutorialservices.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
